How do I use this site?

Good question. So, we’re run by an NGO, Citizens For Europe- which means life is great, but also, difficult. We can only put the magazine out there and promote the work of different social movements with funding, which is why we’re asking for subscriptions and ordering.

That doesn’t actually answer the question…

Ah, sorry. Just wanted to explain why we have a paywall. Never fear – you have two free articles to read from Open Citizenship– and after that, you’ll be asked to subscribe or order. If you choose to do so, not only will we be super grateful, you’ll also have access to all of our archives. So if you want to decide which articles to read, go to our categories, select an issue, and read the Editors’ Note – they’re free, and will give you an overview of our content. We really hope you’ll find this site engaging and that it can help you with your work!

So, to summarise:

  1. You get two free articles – choose wisely! Have a look at our Editor’s Notes (they’re free) to see what article you might like to read.
  2. Scroll through our issues to find your article and read!
  3. Decide if you like the article and want to read more! After this, you’ll be asked to subscribe or upgrade; find another article and choose how to pay. That’s it!

So, ready to get started? Get an overview of our articles here.

We advise you to read the Editors’ Notes and Tables of Contents before clicking articles – once you’ve clicked, you’ve made your  choice! We want this site to be as easy to use as possible. If you have any questions or queries, do let us know- singh@citizensforeurope.org
